Vikash Kumar Singh is a seasoned Senior Devops System Engineer with over 10 years of relevant experience in the field. He currently works at Salesforce, where he is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and scaling application servers infrastructure as per requirements on AWS, GCP, Private Cloud (Openstack), and on 1st party datacenter. Vikash has a proven track record of implementing CI/CD for release management through pipeline as code and writing Ansible playbook for configuration management. He is also skilled in setting up monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, and Sitescope and creating automation as much as possible either through tools or by creating Python and Shell Scripts. Vikash closely collaborates with developers to move legacy infrastructure to containerization and deploy on EKS/GKE Kubernetes cluster. He is proficient in using IaaC tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation (Where Terraform does not fit), containers such as Docker and Kubernetes, CI/CD tools such as Jenkins (Pipeline as code in Groovy and by creating seed job), and CircleCI. He is also skilled in monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Zabbix, and Datadog, logging tools such as Splunk and ELK, scripting languages such as Python and Shell, and configuration management tools such as Ansible. Prior to Salesforce, Vikash has worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Gartner and Sr DevOps Engineer at ETMoney. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from The University of Burdwan. Vikash has also completed his 12th from H.N.K Inter College and 10th from Jila School.
